Terms of Service

1. 01

   The service

   Layer X1 is an API for running AI models, served at api.layerx1.in, with a web dashboard at www.layerx1.in. By creating an account or sending requests to the API, you agree to these terms.

2. 02

   Accounts

   You need an account to use the service, created with an email address or Google sign-in. Give us accurate account information, keep your credentials and API keys confidential, and tell us promptly if you believe a key has been compromised. Activity under your keys is your responsibility.

3. 03

   Plans & billing

   Paid subscriptions are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Plans renew monthly and are billed at the start of each cycle. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you keep full access until then. The Free plan requires no payment method.

   Included usage

   Each plan includes a monthly pool of usage, measured in dollars at each model's public list rate. Pools reset at the start of each monthly cycle; unused usage does not roll over and has no cash value.

   In-flight requests are allowed to finish. As you approach the edge of your plan, the heaviest models pace to your plan; at your plan's monthly ceiling, new requests may be declined until the pool refreshes at the start of your next cycle or you upgrade, which takes effect immediately.

   Acceptable use

   Use the service lawfully. You may not use it to create or distribute unlawful content; abuse or circumvent rate or usage limits; resell raw access to the service without our written consent; or attempt to access data belonging to other customers. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. 06

   Availability & changes

   The model catalog and platform features evolve: models may be added, updated, or retired, and features may change. We run the service with reasonable skill and effort, but we do not warrant uninterrupted availability, and the Free plan carries no availability commitment.

   We may update these terms. When we do, we update the effective date above; continued use of the service after that date means you accept the revised terms.

7. 07

   Liability

   The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without implied warranties, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. 08

   Termination

   You can stop using the service or close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms or use the service unlawfully — where reasonable, we will notify you first. On termination your API keys stop working; clauses that by their nature should survive, including Liability and Governing law, survive.

9. 09

   Governing law

   These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
